A flirt always loses!
Dear Sam: I go to a Christian
school but some of the people (mostly guys) seem really far from God. I
find myself having a different attitude when with them and flirting
even if I don't really mean to. Recently one of my friends called me a
flirt. How can I be a light for God when I am constantly flirting?

Let's face itÖ. flirting can be very stimulating BUT someone usually
looses out! The flirt looses out in confidence if the flirtatious
gesture is turned down. The person flirted with looses out if they
believe the gesture means more than it really does. Friends and good
reputations can also be lost through flirting.

If you find yourself flirting, examine your heart. If you are flirting for attention or to make yourself feel better, your confidence is misplaced. Find your confidence from God's approval. You won't need the approval of others and the flirting will stop.
