Anorexic and suicidal friend
Dear Sam: I have a friend that is anorexic and told me she wants to kill herself. Another friend and I are trying to help her, but should I tell my mom?

- Tell your mom. Your friend needs immediate help. The fact that your friend told you she wants to kill herself may be her way of asking for help. With your mom involved, your friend will get the attention she needs from a doctor and a counsellor.
- Pray for your friend. The bible tells us in James 5:16 that the prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective. Your prayers will make a big difference!
