Sisters can hurt you
Hi-ya Sam! Ok, well, this is my
question. I have 2 sis's that I really love. But whenever my best
friend is around it seems like my one sis likes my friend better than
me. How can I ask my sis if she likes me more than my friend?

Hi-ya MoJo:
I have sisters too, so I know what you’re talkin’ about! Sometimes
having a sister is a great thing. When you need some help with your
homework or someone to go biking with, a sister can be a best friend.
Other times, sisters can hurt your feelings very much. It’s impossible
to get along with your sisters all the time. But, dealing properly with
sisters while growing up will teach you how to deal properly with women
later in life.
The best thing to do whenever you feel hurt by
someone is talk to them. Tell the person how you feel without accusing
them. I’d say this to your sister,
“Whenever my friend comes over, I feel like you like her more than me. It makes me sad.”
If you have a good relationship with your sister, she’ll apologize. If
talking to her will make things worse, include a parent in the
discussion to help make things better.
Xo
Sam.

18:15 “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault
between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained a brother.
If he will not hear, take with you one or two more.”
