Would it be wrong if you did something with a guy that your mom wouldn’t approve of and then you asked God for forgiveness but then you did it again because you knew God would forgive you again?

Dear Not So Sure About Grace:
Grace is exactly what you are talking about here. Here’s the deal. Grace does not give us license to do wrong. (PS: if you knew your mom wouldn’t approve and you had to ask God to forgive you, you probably knew your action with this guy was wrong.) Grace gives us a ‘pass’ when we have repentfully failed.
Here’s another thought, maybe God’s grace would cover multiple repeated wrongs, but consequences are not so forgiving. You could end up with an STI, a broken heart, pregnant, bitter, resentful or even humiliated. It takes more than a prayer to fix those life-altering consequences!
Stay on the straight and narrow…….you’re worth it!
